May 17, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the fatal crash at 6600 Northdale Street that occurred about 4:25 p.m. last Friday (May 14).

The identity of the male victim, 21, is pending notification to family  members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant S. Jewell and Officer M. Mathews reported:

The victim was operating a white Yamaha motorcycle southbound on Northdale street approaching the intersection of Bellfort when the driver of a maroon Lincoln MKX, traveling northbound on Northdale, made a left hand turn into a business and was struck by the motorcycle.  The victim was ejected from the motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene.  The driver of the Lincoln remained at the scene, was questioned and released.

The investigation is continuing.
