March 19, 2021 - Houston police have learned a man critically injured in a crash that occurred at 5206 Dewberry Street about 4:30 p.m. on October 24, 2020 has died.

The victim, Kenneth Woolridge, 59, was pronounced deceased on Sunday (March 14).

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant M. Warhol and Southeast Patrol Division Officer K. Akin reported:

Mr. Woolridge was operating a blue Kawasaki KL600 motorcycle westbound on Dewberry Street and approaching the intersection of Martin Luther King Boulevard when he crashed a short distance away from a set of speed bumps in the roadway.  A witness heard the crash and found Woolridge on the ground.  He was not wearing a helmet and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital.

The investigation is continuing.
