January 11, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 6550 Hillcroft Street about 3:50 a.m. on Saturday (January 9).

The victim, Kylon D. Smith, 36, was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. Brady and M. Casso reported:

Mr. Kylon had been shot multiple times at the entrance to his apartment building at the above address.  He was later found by a passerby who called authorities.  

At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
