April 27, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a woman that occurred at 7302 Tierwester Street about 7:45 p.m. on Monday (April 26).

The victim, Mitra Bolton, 33, was transported to an area hospital where she was treated and released.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives J. Cimeni and L. Castellanos reported:

Ms. Bolton was standing by her vehicle in a convenience store parking lot at the above address when an unknown white four-door sedan drove by and someone inside the vehicle fired multiple shots in her direction.  An unknown male then returned fire.  During the gunfire exchange, Bolton was struck one time.  It is not believed she was the target of either shooter.
