April 20, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 3800 Goodhope Street that occurred about 4:45 a.m. on Monday (April 19).

The identity of the victim is pending verification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. Burrow and K. Daignault reported:

Officers responded to a shooting at a vacant lot at the above address and found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.  Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.  At this time, the motive is unknown.
