September 22, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 6535 Willowbend Boulevard about 8:10 p.m. on Monday (September 21).

The victim, Kenneth Gordon, 37, was pronounced dead at the scene by Houston Fire Department paramedics.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Smith and Detective E. Martinez:reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a reported shooting at a convenience store at the above address.  Upon arrival, they found Mr. Gordon deceased inside.  Further investigation determined Gordon and another male exchanged gunfire outside the store where Gordon was fatally struck.  The suspect, described only a black male dressed all in black, fled the scene.  

A third male, who was inside the store during the shooting, was arrested and charged with tampering with evidence.
