September 11, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 9278 Eastex Freeway (North U.S. Highway 59) about 12:30 a.m. today (September 11).  

The victim, Demarcus Young, 29, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.  

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officer A. Williams and B. Godoy reported:  

Mr. Young was standing in the parking lot of a gas station at the above address when a group of individuals began arguing with each other.  The argument led to gunfire, during which Young was struck twice.  Paramedics transported Young to the hospital.  

At this time, there are no known suspects.
