October 21, 2020 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 2400 Eldridge Parkway about 1:40 p.m. on Tuesday (Oct. 20).

The identity of the female victim, 96, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Arnold and Westside Patrol Division officers reported:

Patrol officers stated the female driver, 24, of a black Cadillac SRX failed to yield the right of way while making a left turn and struck a silver Cadillac ATS at the above address.  The Cadillac ATS then hit a tree.  Paramedics transported the driver and two passengers in the ATS to Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital.  One of the passengers (victim) was then transported to Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center where she was later pronounced deceased.

The investigation is continuing.
