Investigation into Shooting at 2600 Westridge Drive
June 18, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a male that occurred at 2600 Westridge Drive about 10:10 a.m. today.
The male, 41, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers S. Hall and S. Cole reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address. Witnesses reported the male had, for unknown reasons, assaulted a female, 27, in the parking lot at the above address. The woman's boyfriend intervened. During the altercation, fearing for his and his girlfriend's safety, the boyfriend shot the male one time.
There are no charges in this incident, pending further investigation.
