Investigation into Shooting at 4200 South Acres Drive
June 17, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a juvenile male at 4200 South Acres Drive about 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday (June 16).
The juvenile, 14, was transported to an area hospital where he was treated and released.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers A. Barker and M. Combs reported:
The victim was with his mother stopped at a stop sign at the intersection of South Acres and Rubin Street. A black vehicle passed northbound on Rubin Street and at least one person inside began shooting at the victim's vehicle. A white vehicle, following the black vehicle, then also drove past and someone inside also began shooting at the victim's vehicle.
The victim suffered a gunshot wound to the hand and a graze wound to the chest but was not seriously wounded.
At this time there are no known suspects nor motive.
