Investigation into Shooting at 5120 Clover Street
January 3, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 5120 Clover Street about 4:40 p.m. on Thursday (January 2).
The victim was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officer K. Saulsberry reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address involving a person(s) in a white Mercedes sedan. As officers conducted a preliminary investigation, they received information of a male shot in the hand and his friend being dropped off by a sedan (matching the above description) at an area hospital shortly after the shooting. Both men told officers the shooting occurred near the above address but did not provide further information. They were found to have unrelated warrants for their arrests and were taken into custody.
No charges have been filed in the incident at this time, as the investigation is continuing.
