Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Shooting at 6109 Ludington Drive
April 27, 2020 - Houston police have arrested a suspect charged in the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 6109 Ludington Drive about 7:40 p.m. on Sunday (April 26).
The suspect, Bryan Flores (b/m, 18), is charged with murder and aggravated assault in the 338th State District Court and burglary of a motor vehicle in Harris County Criminal Court #11. A booking photo of Flores is attached to this news release.
The victim, Mustafa Nuru, 39, was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
HPD Homicide Division Officers J. Caten and D. Higgs reported:
Officers responded to a shooting call at an apartment complex at the above address and found Mr. Nuru suffering from a gunshot wound. Paramedics transported Nuru to the hospital.
Flores was located and detained in the apartment complex parking lot after shooting towards another individual. He was questioned and subsequently charged for his role in both shooting incidents.
