Suspect Arrested, Charged in Shooting Incident at 696 Pineloch Drive
October 28, 2019 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the shooting of a man at 696 Pineloch Drive about 10:45 p.m.
The suspect, Caila Dilworth (b/f, 21), is charged with aggravated assault of a family member in the 183rd State District Court. A photo of Dilworth is attached to this news release.
The victim, Jamie Thompson, 26, was transported to an area hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening wounds.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives B. Salazar and A. Williams reported:
Mr. Thompson and suspect Dilworth, who are in a dating relationship, were arguing when Dilworth retrieved a gun and shot Thompson multiple times. Thompson was able to run away to safety before being transported to the hospital. Dilworth was subsequently arrested and charged in this case.
