Investigation into Fatal Shooting of Man Found at 7900 Streamside
March 25, 2019 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 7900 Streamside about 12:30 a.m. on Saturday (March 23).
The victim, Jacorey Dewayne Johnson, 19, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. Brady and M. Casso reported:
Witnesses stated that, at about 11 p.m. last Friday (March 22), they heard gunshots in the area of 7900 Streamside and West Gulf Bank. About 90 minutes later, police were called to the above address where Mr. Johnson was found lying on the sidewalk.
Investigators interviewed a witness who stated he was walking with Johnson on West Gulf Bank when they were approached by a suspect who fired multiple shots at Johnson. The suspect is described only as a black male, in his late teens to early 20s, with a thin build and glasses.
