Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 800 Harbor Street
March 1, 2019 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman that occurred at 800 Harbor Street about 9:20 p.m. on Wednesday (Feb. 27).
The victim, Eleticia Martinez, 52, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant T. Simmons and Investigators T. Tyler, B. Evans and K. Heaverlo reported:
HPD officers responded to a report of a shooting and found Ms. Martinez deceased in her driveway at the above address. Further investigation revealed Martinez arrived at her residence, backed her vehicle into her driveway and was shot a few moments later. Witnesses reported hearing three gunshots and when they looked out their windows they saw Martinez lying on the ground.
Investigators believe a small, possibly four-door sedan, fled the scene, with its headlights off, southbound on Harbor Street.
