Investigation into Man Found Fatally Shot at 2900 Brewster Street
June 18, 2019 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 2900 Brewster Street about 11 p.m. on Monday (June 17).
The identity of the victim, 56, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant T. Simmons and Detective T. Andrade reported:
A passing motorist observed two unknown black males crouched over a man's body in the roadway at the above address. The males fled on foot as the motorist approached.
Officers and paramedics were called to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased. He had sustained at least one gunshot wound.
