Investigation into Fatal Crash at 8700 Bellaire Boulevard
December 23, 2019 - A man critically injured in a crash that occurred at 8700 Bellaire Boulevard about 10:05 a.m. on December 18 has died.
Doctors at Ben Taub General Hospital pronounced the victim deceased on Saturday (Dec. 21). His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Officer J. Campbell reported:
The victim, a pedestrian, failed to yield the right of way and was struck by a red GMC Sierra pickup truck traveling eastbound at the above address. The victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition. The driver of the GMC remained at the scene, was questioned and released.
