Investigation into Fatal Crash at 4200 Mineral Haven Drive
December 09, 2019 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 4200 Mineral Haven Drive about 1:20 p.m. on Saturday (December 7).
The male victim, 47, was transported to a Pearland hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Rodriguez and Officer D. Jones reported:
The victim was driving a gray Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck eastbound at the above address when he may have suffered a medical episode. According to a witness, the victim was driving at a slow speed when he failed to maintain a single lane and struck the stop sign at the intersection of Prosperity Ridge Drive. The truck then began to turn southbound on Prosperity Ridge where it struck a white Hyundai Sonata parked in a driveway.
No other individuals were involved in this crash.
The investigation is continuing.
