Investigation into Stabbing at 9421 Jensen Drive
September 24, 2018 - Houston police are investigating the stabbing of a man at 9421 Jensen Drive about 10 p.m. on Sunday (September 23).
The victim, Jason Mejia, 23, was transported to an area hospital where doctors expect him to survive his injuries.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers G. Black and A. Ferrell reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a stabbing call in a parking lot at the above address and found Mr. Mejia had been stabbed. According to witnesses, Mejia got into an altercation with a male suspect and they started to fight. During the fight, the suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed Mejia in the abdomen. The suspect then fled the scene on foot. Paramedics then transported Mejia to the hospital.
The suspect is described only as a black male known as "Mike."
