Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 6523 Mohawk
September 4, 2018 - The fatal shooting of a male that occurred at 6523 Mohawk about 3 p.m. on Monday (September 3) will be referred to a Harris County grand jury.
The victim, Drevonne Pierce, 22, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives Huynh and Higgs reported:
Officers responded to a report of a shooting at the above address and found Mr. Pierce deceased inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound to the chest.
The male shooter, 18, remained at the scene, provided a statement to officers and was subsequently released. The incident will be referred to a grand jury.
The investigation is continuing.
