November 13, 2018 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 10300 North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45) about 8:55 p.m. on Sunday (Nov. 11).

The identity of the female victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Uribe and Officer G. Anderson reported:

The victim, a pedestrian, was in a moving lane of traffic on the southbound lanes of the North Freeway at the above address when she was struck by a blue Ford F-150 pickup truck and then a blue Honda Civic.  Both drivers stopped, provided statements to investigators and were released without charges.  The victim was transported to an area hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
