Investigation into Fatal Crash at 4400 Almeda Genoa
November 5, 2018 - Houston police are investigating the fatal crash that killed two people at 4400 Almeda Genoa around 2:05 a.m. on Sunday (November 4).
The identities of the victims, a male, 28, and a female, 10, are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Rodriguez and Officer R. Singleton reported:
The male victim was driving a black Hyundai Accent on the wrong side of the road, eastbound in the westbound lane of Almeda Genoa, when he struck a gray Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck. The driver of the Dodge was transported to Memorial Hermann Pearland Hospital with minor injuries. The 10-year old female was a passenger in back seat of the Accent. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is continuing.
