Investigation into Woman's Death at 2200 South Wayside
Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a woman that occurred at 2200 South Wayside about 5:15 a.m. on Saturday (April 28).
The victim, Priscilla Romo, 36, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her cause of death is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives H. Hay, S. Murdock, T. Colbert, and R. Ridel reported:
Ms. Romo and an adult male were in a rented motel room at the above address. Both individuals went to sleep and when the man awoke in the morning he found her unresponsive. He immediately called 9-1-1 and tried unsuccessfully to resuscitate her.
The investigation is continuing.
