Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Shooting at 4800 Martin Luther King Boulevard
Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a man at 4800 Martin Luther King Boulevard about 11:30 p.m. on February 25.
The suspect, Kevon Latreal Mills (b/m, 17), is charged with murder in the 351st State District Court. He is accused in the killing of Cornelius Jackson, 20, who was pronounced deceased at Memorial Hermann Hospital.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Holbrook and Detective J. Roscoe reported:
Mr. Jackson was standing in a parking at the above address when he got into an altercation with an unknown male suspect. During the altercation, Jackson was shot. HFD paramedics transported him to the hospital.
Further investigation identified Mills as the suspect in this case and he was taken into custody on Tuesday (March 27) without incident.
