Update: Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Shooting at 9510 Langdon Lane
June 4, 2018 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a woman found at 9510 Langdon Lane about 6 a.m. on April 5.
The male suspect, 14, has been referred to Harris County Juvenile Probation authorities on a charge of capital murder.
The victim, Tuyen Nguyen, 29, of the above address, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Holbrook and Detective J. Roscoe reported:
Family members stated Ms. Nguyen had left her mother's residence about 11 p.m. on Wednesday (April 4) to return to her home at the above address. Nguyen's fiance told investigators he awoke and noticed she had not returned home. As he was leaving for work, the fiance discovered Nguyen lying in the front yard. She had sustained at least one gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Further investigation led to the identification of the juvenile suspect in this case and, on Sunday (June 3), he was arrested without incident.
