Investigation into Body Found at 9870 Ruffino Road
July 30, 2018 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a person found at 9870 Ruffino Road about 7:40 a.m. on Saturday (July 28).
The identity and cause of death of the victim are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives M. Perez and K. Persad reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a suspicious event call at the above address. Upon arrival, they met with a witness who advised them of a suspicious bag on the side of the roadway. Officers checked the bag and found the victim inside. The victim's identity, gender, and cause of death are not known at this time.
