Investigation into Shooting at 10127 Jensen Drive
January 29, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a robbery suspect at 10127 Jensen Drive about 2:20 a.m. on Sunday (January 28).
The suspect, 20, was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where doctors stated he is expected to survive his wounds.
The male shooter, 22, was not injured in the incident.
HPD Major Assaults Unit Officers L. Kauffman and A. Ferrell reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and were approached by a male who told them a suspect armed with a shotgun tried to rob him. Fearing for his life, the male, who is a concealed handgun license (CHL) holder, fired at the suspect and struck him several times. Officers located the suspect and recovered his weapon. He was then transported by HFD paramedics to the hospital.
