Investigation into Fatal Crash at 1400 South Loop West
Feburary 26, 2018 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 1400 South Loop West about 11:55 p.m. on Saturday (Feb. 24).
The male victim, 54, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Griffiths and Officer J. Baker reported:
The victim was driving a teal Toyota Camry eastbound at the above address when he failed to maintain a single lane, lost control of his vehicle and struck a guardrail. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the driver to the hospital where he later died.
No other motorists or vehicles were involved in this incident.
The investigation is continuing.
