Investigation into Shooting Incident at 4105 Washington Avenue
December 19, 2018 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 4105 Washington Avenue about 1:40 a.m. today.
The victim, Nathan Gerk, 35, was transported to an area hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening wounds.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers A. Hernandez and G. Black reported:
Mr. Gerk is a manager at a club at the above address. Following a private party at the club, as people were attempting to leave, the suspect's vehicle was found to be blocking the parking lot exit. When told to move the vehicle, the suspect and another person began arguing. As Mr. Gerk attempted to intervene, he was shot once by the suspect who then fled in a 2014 black, four-door Cadillac CTS.
