Suspect Arrested, Charged in Shooting at 1714 Collingsworth
December 12, 2018 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the shooting of a man at 1714 Collingsworth about 11:20 p.m. on Monday (December 10).
The suspect, H.B. Lane (b/m, 42), is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 185th State District Court.

The victim, Donnell Greer, 46, was transported to an area hospital where he was treated and released.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives G. Black and A. Hernandez reported:
Mr. Greer was inside a business at the above address waiting for his work shift to begin when Lane approached and asked him if he had a problem. Lane then shot Greer several times. Lane was detained by security until HPD patrol officers arrived. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and transported Greer to the hospital.
