Investigation into Shooting at 4700 Yale Street
December 6, 2018 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 4700 Yale Street about 12:40 p.m. on Wednesday (Dec. 5).
The victim, Darrius Moody, 28, was transported to an area hospital with a gunshot wound to a leg.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers K. Persad and R. Rivera reported:
Mr. Moody was in his vehicle and waiting on the traffic signal on Yale at Victoria. When the light turned green, Moody proceeded through the intersection and began to hear gunshots. Realizing he had been shot in the leg, Moody pulled into the parking lot of a nearby business and called 911.
At this time, there is no known suspect(s) nor motive in the shooting.
