Investigation into Fatal Crash at 7803 Hillmont
December 3, 2018 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 7803 Hillmont about 10:25 a.m. on Saturday (Dec. 1).
The identity of the male victim, 2, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant G. Lopez and Officer E. Morgado reported:
The victim's father was driving a white Ford F-350 pickup truck and re-positioning the truck in the family's driveway at the above address. The victim exited the residence without his father's knowledge and was struck by the front of the truck. Paramedics transported the child to Texas Children's Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The father, who did not show signs of intoxication, provided a statement to investigators.
