Investigation into Shooting Incident at 2900 West Sam Houston Parkway South
August 31, 2018 - Houston police are investigating an incident in which two suspects fired shots at a Harris County Precinct 1 deputy constable at 2900 West Sam Houston Parkway South about 12:05 a.m. today.
The deputy was not injured nor did he discharge his duty weapon.
HPD Major Assaults and Family Violence Division Detectives R. Naughton and C. Grahmann reported:
A Harris County Precinct 1 deputy constable was working an extra job at a motel at the above address and was escorting two trespassing suspects off the property. One of the suspects fired shots at the deputy, but he was not struck. Both suspects then fled the scene on foot.
The suspects are described only as two black males.
