Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 4703 Curly Oaks Drive
August 27, 2018 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 4703 Curly Oaks Drive about 7:45 p.m. last Friday (August 24).
The victim, Michael E. Sykes, Jr., 24, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives L. Patterson, J. Pickett and K. Clark reported:
Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at a residence at the above address and found Mr. Sykes deceased in the front yard. He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Two black male suspects with guns were seen getting out of an older model silver or gray SUV, shooting Sykes and then leaving in the vehicle.
