Investigation into Fatal Crash at 1100 North State Highway 6
August 20, 2018 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 1100 North State Highway 6 about 1:30 a.m. on Sunday (August 19).
The male victim, 52, was transported to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Rodriguez and Officer J. Baker reported:
The victim was driving a red Ford Expedition northbound at the above address. While in the left turn lane at the intersection of Park Row Boulevard, he disregarded the turn lane markings and continued northbound, striking a curb and then the signal light pole.
No other individuals nor motorists were involved in this incident.
