Investigation into Shooting Incident at 9404 Beechnut
August 10, 2018 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 9404 Beechnut about 9:20 p.m. on Thursday (August 9).
The victim, Brandon Payne, 37, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Homicide Division Officers R. Naughton and V. Habukiha reported:
Mr. Payne and a second man, Marcus Davidson, 37, were a townhome parking lot at the above address when two suspects attempted to rob them. During the attempted robbery, Payne was shot and Davidson was punched in the face. Both suspects fled the scene.
