Investigation into Man Found Deceased at 2424 Sakowitz
April 3, 2018 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found at 2424 Sakowitz about 9:45 a.m. on Monday (April 2).
The man is identified as Darrick Summers, 45, of the above address.
HPD Homicide Division Detective K. Elliot reported:
An employee of a housing facility at the above address was picking up trash on the property when he found Mr. Summers deceased in a ditch and immediately called 9-1-1. HPD patrol officers and HFD paramedics responded to the scene and determined Summers was a resident of the housing facility. No immediate signs of trauma were found on his body.
The investigation is pending Summers' cause of death, to be determined by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
