Investigation into Fatal Crash at 3700 Katy Freeway
September 18, 2017 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 3700 Katy Freeway (West Interstate Highway 10) about 10:10 p.m. last Friday (Sept. 15).
The identity of the deceased female victim, 40, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant E. Fendia and Officer M. Nicotra reported:
The victim was walking in the inbound lanes of the freeway at the above address when she was struck by a black Ford F-250 pickup truck and a gray Ford Fusion. The drivers stopped, were questioned and then released.
The investigation is continuing.
