Suspect Arrested, Additional Victims Sought in Sexual Assault Investigation
October 26, 2017 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested and charged with indecency with a child.
The suspect, Brandon Thomas McElveen (w/m, 33), is charged with three counts of indecency with a child in the 232nd State District Court.
The most recent photo of McElveen, who was arrested by the Victoria County Sheriff's Office, is attached to this news release.
McElveen was a counselor employed by the KIPP Explorer Academy since 2009 and had access to multiple children throughout his tenure with the school.
Investigators believe there may be additional victims and are asking anyone whose children had interaction with McElveen to speak with their children.
Anyone with information regarding additional victims or whose children may have had inappropriate contact with Brandon McElveen is urged to contact the HPD Special Victims Division at 713-830-3254 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
