Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 5627 Elm Tree Drive
October 23, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 5627 Elm Tree Drive about 11:55 p.m. on Saturday (Oct. 21).
The victim, Edward Hargrove, 53, was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officer S. Spivey and Officer E. Contreras reported:
Officers responded to a shooting in-progress call at a residence at the above address. According to witnesses, Mr. Hargrove and another man were involved in an altercation. During the altercation Mr. Hargrove was shot. The suspect then fled the scene.
