Investigation into Shooting at 741 Winding Road
November 30, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 741 Winding Road about 12:15 a.m. today (November 30).
The victim, James Palermo, 31, was transported to an area hospital to be treated for his wounds.
HPD Major Assaults Unit Officers R. Montalvo and S. Ragsdale reported:
Mr. Palermo and his girlfriend got into an argument while at his residence at the above address. Another male arrived in his own vehicle to give the girlfriend a ride. Palermo and the male then got into a physical fight in the front yard. Palermo chased the male to his vehicle, where the male produced a pistol and shot Palermo in the shoulder. He was transported by HFD paramedics to the hospital. The male shooter remained at the scene and provided a statement to investigators.
No charges have been filed at this time, as the investigation is continuing.
