Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 4220 Grassmere
May 1, 2017 - HOUSTON - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 4220 Grassmere about 3:15 a.m. today (May 1).
The victim, James Bolden, 55, of the above address, was pronounced dead at an area hospital.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Horn and Detective M. Cass reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and found Mr. Bolden had suffered at least one gunshot wound. HFD paramedics transported him to an area hospital where he later died.
According to witnesses, two masked male suspects crawled through an unlocked window of the residence, confronted at least one of the residents and demanded money. After the suspects received the money, Bolden was shot.
The suspects are described only as two black males, about 17 years of age.
