Suspect Arrested, Charged in Shooting at 5320 Beverly Hill Street
July 24, 2017 - Houston police have arrested a suspect charged in the shooting of a man that occurred at 5320 Beverly Hill Street about 7 p.m. on Sunday (July 23).
The suspect, Wilson Hurtado (H/m, 20), has a pending charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. No photo of Hurtado is available at this time.
The victim, Keegan Fry, 22, of the above address, was transported to an area hospital where he was treated and released.
HPD Major Assaults Unit Officers A. Williams, A. Ferrell and A. Hernandez reported:
Mr. Fry was shot in the leg by the suspect, Hurtado, while the two were fighting at the above address. Friends of Fry attempted to detain Hurtado, who then fled on foot. He subsequently returned to the scene where he requested treatment for injuries sustained when Fry’s friends tried to prevent him from leaving. Hurtado was transported to an area hospital where he was treated, released and arrested for aggravated assault.
