Investigation into Body Found at 5723 Wenda
December 29, 2017 - Houston police have learned the identity of a man whose body was found at 5723 Wenda about 7:20 p.m. on Wednesday (Dec. 27).
The victim, Ronald Freeman, 28, of Houston, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Rhoads and Officer T. Fay reported:
Houston firefighters responded to a fire in the woods at the above address. Upon extinguishing the fire, they found Mr. Freeman deceased.
An examination by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences determined the identity of Mr. Freeman. Investigators have learned he was last in contact with family members about 2 p.m. on the date of his death.
