Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Shooting at 14918 Waterside View Court
December 19, 2017 - Houston police have arrested a suspect charged in the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 14918 Waterside View Court about 3 a.m. on Sunday (Dec. 17).
The suspect, Isaiah Kain Salas-Martinez, 20, is charged with murder in the 179th State District Court for his role in the killing of Cole Harrell, 23.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Olive and Officer S. Sylvester reported:
Salas-Martinez drove to a residence at the above address after receiving a phone call from his intoxicated girlfriend. When he arrived, a resident opened the door and saw that Salas-Martinez was carrying a shotgun and a semi-automatic pistol. Salas-Martinez entered the residence and witnesses attempted to disarm him. During the altercation, Mr. Harrell was struck one time in the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Salas-Martinez fled the scene with his girlfriend, but later returned to turn himself in. He was arrested without further incident.
