Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 4901 Laura Koppe
December 11, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman and wounding of a man at 4901 Laura Koppe about 2:40 p.m. on Saturday (Dec. 9).
The female victim, Angelique Janetta Stafford, 39, was pronounced dead at the scene. The male victim, 40, was treated for a minor wound and released at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives M. Arrington and J. Pickett reported:
The victims were sitting in their four-door Saturn Aurora in a convenience store parking lot at the above address when a male suspect on a bicycle rode up, fired multiple shots at them and then fled the scene.
Paramedics pronounced Ms. Stafford deceased and treated the male victim for a minor wound to his right side.
The suspect is only described as a black male in his 40s who possibly goes by the name of "Steve."
