Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Stabbing at 5701 Airline
September 19, 2016 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal stabbing of a woman at 5701 Airline #25 about 12:15 a.m. on Sunday (September 18).
The suspect, Veronica Gonzales (H/f, 32), is charged with murder in the 183rd State District Court. She is accused in the death of her mother, Virginia Gonzales, 58, of the above address.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Horn and Officer R. Moss reported:
Veronica Gonzales went to a friend's home while covered in blood. The friend called 911. Officers arrived and learned Gonzales lived several miles away, on Airline Drive. Patrol officers went to Gonzales' trailer home and found her mother, Virginia, deceased with apparent stab wounds. Veronica Gonzales was taken into custody and charged in the case.
