Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 1395 Federal Road
October 10, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 1395 Federal Road about 11:40 p.m. on Sunday (October 9).
The victim, Miguel Angel Cid, 22, of Houston, was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Sturdivant and Senior Police Officer D. Arnold reported:
Several witnesses saw what appeared to be an exchange of gunfire inside a vehicle parked at a Jack in the Box at the above address. Mr. Cid was seen being pushed out of the vehicle where he continued to return fire at the vehicle as it fled the scene. Cid then collapsed and was soon picked up by another vehicle, driven by his brother, and then transported to the hospital.
At this time, there is no known motive nor suspect(s).
