Update: Suspect Arrested, Charged in Aggravated Sex Assault of a Child
November 18, 2016 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the sexual assault of a 10-year-old boy that occurred at 11331 Airline Drive about 3:30 p.m. on August 24.
The suspect, Jonathan Josue Guevara Cea (H/m, 24) is charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child in the 337th State District Court. A photo of Guevara Cea is attached to this news release.

HPD Special Victims Division Officer Annette Keyes reported:
The victim was visiting the public library at the above address when he entered the men’s restroom. The suspect, who was already in the restroom, forced the boy into a stall and sexually assaulted him. The child was able to escape and the suspect fled the scene on foot.
Further investigation led to the identification of Guevara Cea as a suspect in this case and today (Nov. 18) he was arrested without incident. There are no known additional victims, however, anyone who believes their child may have had inappropriate contact with Guevara Cea is urged to contact the HPD Special Victims Division at 713-308-1140 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
