Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 10000 Hammerly
January 11, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 10000 Hammerly that occurred about 8:20 p.m. last Friday (Jan. 8).
The victim, William Burnell, 49, was transported to Memorial Hermann Northwest Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
HPD Homicide Division Officers N. Sharp and C. Elder reported:
The victim got into an argument with a group of males at the above address when an unknown suspect began firing a gun and struck the victim multiple times. The unknown suspect then fled the scene.
